From the ABC Weather Map to the Farm Gate
Graham Creed bridges the gap between science and the soil — helping Australians understand the weather, the land, and how to make smarter decisions in a changing climate.
Practical Weather Education for Regional Australia
After more than 30 years in meteorology — from the Bureau of Meteorology to 14 years as a national weather presenter with the ABC — Graham now brings his expertise to the community through hands-on workshops, keynote presentations, and speaking engagements that bring forecasting tools and climate understanding to life.
His sessions make weather and climate understanding accessible, engaging, and practical. From small-group training for landholders to conference presentations for councils and industry events, Graham’s goal is the same — to help people read the skies, interpret forecasts, and make confident, informed decisions.
From Broadcaster to Farmer
In 2022 Graham swapped the studio lights for the open paddocks of his property, Eagles Reach, on the NSW Mid Coast.
Today, he grows Proteas and Waratahs, keeps bees, and contributes to local Landcare and Rivercare projects that restore native habitat and support biodiversity.
This real-world experience grounds every session he teaches — practical, local, and deeply connected to life on the land.
Weather & Climate Workshops
These sessions are designed for farmers, landholders, councils, Landcare teams, and outdoor professionals who want to understand and use weather data more effectively.
You’ll learn how to interpret global forecast models, compare AI-based tools, and gain practical insight into what’s really coming your way.
No technical background is needed — just bring a laptop or tablet and a willingness to explore how science meets real-world decision-making.
Whether you’re planning around rain, fire, harvests, or events, Graham’s workshops will give you the confidence to read the skies for yourself.
“Graham Creed presented to a team of 11 here at Blacktown City Council covering weather, climate and climate change impacts that affect our team's day-to-day decisions. His style is relaxed and engaging, making complex weather concepts easy to understand and relevant to our work.”
